Welcome, Christmas, Bring Your Light

On my livejournal, I have this little tradition called "Hollmann Holiday Extravaganza". Twenty-five days, three Casting Coups, two holidays, one old man in a suit. It is time to bring this tradition to the Silver Screening Room.

And I do promote audience participation. So please, participate. Share a Christmas memory, or a fond little tale.

DAY ONE OF HOLLMANN HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA!

Yes, that time of year has finally arrived! Every year, we spend twenty-five days basking in Pure Christmas Glory (with some Chaunukah good-naturedness on the side). Christmas songs, trivia, special Casting Coups, and more! Oh so much more...

Christmas is a great time of year. Miracles are the norm, love takes the place of everyday apathy, and friendship is the most important relationship you can have. Oh, and family.

This year, my most important relationship seems to be with Amanda, my girlfriend. For, truth be told, I kind of forgot about doing the HHE this year. Thank goodness I've got her around. She reminds me to do my duty. She also provides great phone conversation while walking through the cold. So, it may sound cheesy for a first-day HHE, but hey, Christmas is about appreciating what you have, right?

The snow is snowing and the wind is blowing
But I can weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
For Ive got my love to keep me warm
I cant remember a worse december
Just watch those icicles form!
Oh, what do I care if icicles form?
Oh, Ive got my love to keep me warm
Off with my overcoat, off with my glove
I need no overcoat, Im burning with love!
My hearts on fire, the flame grows higher
So I will weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
Oh, Ive got my love to keep me warm
The snow is snowing, the wind is blowing
But I can weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
Oh, Ive got my love to keep me warm
I cant remember a worse december
Just watch those icicles form!
What do I care if icicles form?
Oh-ho-ho, Ive got my love to keep me warm
Off with my overcoat, off with my glove
I need no overcoat, Im burning with love!
My hearts on fire, the flame grows higher
So I will weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
Oh, Ive got my love to keep me warm
